Open the local ( gpedit. msc ) or domain GPO ( gpmc. msc ) editor and go to the following GPO section Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Windows Error Reporting. Find the policy named Disable Windows Error Reporting and set it to Enabled.

Method 2: Disable Windows Error Reporting using Group Policy Step 1: Access Group Policy on your computer. Step Two: Go to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Components > Windows Windows Error Reporting in the Local Group Policy Editor.

Error detection is enabled by default in all versions of Windows. However, it is important to disable the issue on your version of Windows, either in the main control panel or in services. Before disabling error reporting, remember that this is beneficial not only to Microsoft, but also to you, the owner of Windows.

You access these error reporting settings from the Advanced tab of the System Properties applet, accessible through the Control Panel. Of course, you can also easily manage Windows Error Reporting using Group Policy. Finally, it’s worth noting that Group Policy offers a lot more options than the corresponding Control Panel applets (see screenshot).
