Does this program get error 1079 when trying to start the audio service? a) Click Start, type services.msc and press Enter. b) Double-click the Audio Windows service. d) Click Local System Account, then click OK. e Right-click Windows Audio, then click Start.

Error 1079: The account specified for this service is different from the account specified for various other services running on the same path. Because the Windows Event Log Platform is not running, starting the Task Scheduler will eventually result in the following error:

Additionally, when you try to manually start the service, you may receive the following error message: Error 1079: The account specified for care is different from the account used for other services running in the same process

Why do I get an error 1079 when I start a service?

Error 1079: The account specified for this website is different from the account of other services running in the same process. The service is started from the Local System account, which instead refers to the Local Service entry ( NT AUTHORITY\\LocalService ). The local system account may not have sufficient privileges to run the service.
