How to fix SonicWall netextender Windows Remote Access service error?

Posted on November 4, 2022

For resolving The Windows Remote Access Service (RAS) has encountered an error problem, Please follow the below step; Navigate to Windows Device Manager –> Network Adaptores and uninstall the WAN Miniport (IP) and WAN Miniport (PPTP) devices, then scan for the hardware changes. Once it done the hardware changes try to use the NetExtender.

I hope someone can help my routine to solve this problem. Go to Windows Services Manager, run “services.msc”, then look for “Remote Access Automatic Connection Manager” and “Access Connection Manager” to see if these two services are running. If not, configure them automatically to start restarting the merged machine with NetExtender installation/configuration all over again.

Go to Windows Device Manager Network -> Adapters and remove the WAN Miniport (IP) and WAN Miniport (PPTP) devices, then check for changes to the Generic Series Bus. After that, replace the screws and bolts and try using the NetExtender.

ten errors Windows & NetExtender, RAS. The solution was to remove all miniports: once nettextender was open on some login screens, I did it all. Removed the 8 WAN miniports that were showing up on my test machine, analyzed the garden changes, waited for them to sync, then tried Nettextender and that was it! I had another client who was rebooting to work in the marketplace for FWIW.
