Intel Trusted Engine Runtime Interface Driver. This package includes the Intel Execution Respected Engine Interface Driver. The Intel Trusted Execution Engine driver enables secure booting of the system and is required for system security features. This update applies to Intel Security Advisory INTEL-SA-00322.

Update the Intel Management Engine Interface drivers. You will fix this by updating your drivers manually or automatically. You need to manually update the Intel Management Engine Interface people by doing the following:


The Intel TXE driver is required for the Intel Secure Boot Platform and Security Components. If you need this task description (read carefully), you need to download and install the driver from Intel. If not, ignore the error. Unzip it. Extract it to another directory. Go to Device Manager and click on the TXE device with the big problem. Then click on the driver ad. Click Update Driver. Select the “Search my computer for drivers” option, then select “Let me choose from a list of device drivers on my computer” at the bottom of the window.

If you have a different computer and/or user system, try reinstalling some of the Intel® Trusted Execution Engine Interface (Intel® TXEI) drivers:

  1. In Device Manager, right-click My Device.
  2. Select Uninstall.
  3. Restart your computer. Windows may try to reinstall the current driver.
